Prison Break is AWFUL.

QUESTION: Thinking back to all the great TV series finales that you have seen over the years, which show do you belive had the best final episode?

There is only 1 show that I have seen all the way through, and the final episode was TERRIBLE. seriously people (all zero of you that read this) DON'T WATCH PRISON BREAK. The final episode was lacking in all the traits that a good episode has. It was revolting and ruined the entire show.

One show that I loved while growing up was Five Mile Creek. We had episodes recorded on VHS tapes. I never saw all of them or the final episode but it was the best show I have seen. Such a classic. I think thats where my desire to go to Australia began. I wanted to go stay in Kate Wallace's house and marry Con Madigan. He is SO dreamy. I think thats why I am only attracted to men that are much older than me. Hannah Scott would have been my best friend and we would have played dolls together.

oh man.....

QUESTION: What is one event in the future whose outcome you would really like to know?

I am okay with not know the future. That takes the whole fun out of life right? BUT on the other hand being a single female in the LDS church isn't very fun either. I guess being a single female period isn't fun. Its hard to plan a life knowing that at any second you could meet someone and it will turn your world upside down and everything you are working on might be taken away. My dreams will be taken away and replaced with our dreams. For example the mother that goes through nursing school just to get married and stay home with her kids. That is not a bad thing, but thats A LOT of work to go through to not use. I don't think I am up for it. There is always the argument, what if your husband dies and you are stuck raising a family on your own. Well if that happens I am sure I have a loving heavenly father that wouldn't leave me and my family destitute. So this is what I would like... I would like to know in what year I will get married, if at all. Then I can plan from there. Keep everything else a surprise and part of the experience, just let me know when.

Back with the Future

QUESTION: Through the use of a time machine, you are traveling back to the year 1850. You may take with you one, and only one, product or invention from the modern era. What would you take with you to impress and awe our forebears?

This is tricky. It has to be something that can be used there. Sure I would love to show them the sewing machine, but what would I plug it into? It wouldn't work and my plan would be spoiled. So its something that can function all on its own. I think there are 2 things that would create quite a stir and would be fun.

1. The bra
2. The digital camera.

When it comes down to it I would take the digital camera for 2 reasons. 1 to awe the forebears and 2. to take a picture of me in 1850!

GLORIOUS

QUESTION: When was the last time you laughed so hard that you cried?

This weekend! We were at a ward talent show and let me tell you, MY WARDS GOT TALENT! A group made a music video that was incredibly cheesy and entertaining!! If you can't pass through it go over, around, and under.

QUESTION: Some are high, some are low; some are long, some are short; some are old, some are new. In all your travels, what is the most awe-inspiring bridge you have ever crossed?

Well believe it or not in my MANY (har-har) travels I don't think I have crossed OVER too many bridges. They have been more going UNDER and THROUGH whatever it was that needed to be crossed.

My 2 favorite were the Suez Canal in EGYPT

and the Zion national park Tunnel which is 1.1 miles long! This was really cool because there were windows everynow and again that you could look out. from your car as you were driving past that is. I would love to go back.

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

Been there, Done that!

QUESTION: Aside from an family occurrence (marriage, special anniversary, birth of a child, etc), what event or accomplishment would you consider to be the highlight of your life thus far?

I WENT TO EGYPT!! How many Americans can say that? I know for Europeans it is more common but not for people on my side of the world. I feel truly blessed to have had that experience! It is one that I will always remember with feelings of happiness! I would love to go back one day. This was a goal that I had for many years and it was a great accomplishment. Somedays I think to myself, HOLY COW, you have been to egypt, that's cool. It is almost unreal sometimes. I feel that trip opened the doors of travel to me and I feel like I could go anywhere and experience anything. I am already dreaming of my trip to Australia next year. :) Wanna come along?

TOP SECRET

QUESTION: If you HAD to change your first name, what would you choose as your new name?

When I was little I always wanted to change my name to Cynthia. I LOVED that name and I swore that when I had my first little girl that would be her name. Now, not so much! :)

If I HAD to change my name because I witnessed a murder and the aliens were after me to steal my brain and make me eat cheese for the rest of my life I would change my name to Jordyn. SSSHHHHHH don't tell them my secret! :)

Friday, November 13, 2009

QUESTION: If a local radio station offered to let you have your own 30-minute show each weekday morning, what type of show would you have?

Just something that played music! I HATE listening to all the crap on in the mornings. I don't care about what the celebrities are doing. I don't care about the TV shows that I didn't watch. I just want to hear upbeat music that pumps me up for the day. It would be called, Wake up with Mern.

Wednesday, November 11, 2009

I am me

QUESTION: What is the greatest lesson in life you have ever learned?

Don't put twinkies on your pizza. - oh wait, thats just a line from the film Heavyweights. :)

My greatest lesson is don't put limitations on yourself. Be who you want to be and do what you want to do. Wear what you want to wear. Don't say, I can wear that because its not not me. MAKE IT YOU! I can't be friends with them because they are too cool for me, YOU ARE COOL ENOUGH!

Tuesday, November 10, 2009

I FLOATED out of Sprouts.

QUESTION: In your own not-so-humble opinion, what is your most likeable quality?

I am plain, old fashioned nice. Too nice. I was in Sprouts last night and smiled at this old lady. She walked up to me and told me I was nice and that I had great color. She was an adorable Italian lady so she was leaning into my arm and raised her arms, bent them at the elbow and snapped her fingers when she was talking about my color. You know how they do it, usually they say OOPA when they make the gesture.

Clear days have the best visability.

QUESTION: If you could stand at the pinnacle of any natural or man-made structure, what would it be?

QUESTION: If you were an airline pilot and were told to choose any route that you would have to fly for your entire career, what two cities would your flights connect?

Well I assume that I would be able to have a layover in these cities if I wish? That way I could fly for free and do a little vacation? But then again if I am a pilot I probably have my own plane and I can go wherever I want whenever I want.... hmmmm.... Unless its a foreign place and I would need special clearance to fly to certain places. I am going to go with New York to Montpellier France.

Till Death do you part.

QUESTION: If you could take any job for just one month, what job would you like to have? (Assume that you would have the skills and knowledge to perform adequately.)

Wouldn't everyone just choose their dream job? And if thats your dream job why don't you work towards it? hmmm...

I think I know how to answer that. I would love to be a wedding planner.I just don't know if I have the skills to carry out such a task. So in dream land I would love to be touched by the career fairy and given the necessary attributes to acheive the task of pulling of beautiful, fun filled events. I think my desire to be a wedding planner comes from my beliefs and the fact that I won't have a "typical 5 year olds dream wedding." 5 year old Mern was dreaming of Temples and receptions held in a Basketball court. 5 year old Mern was confused though because she would watch movies with beautiful weddings and a Daddy walking his daughter down the Aisle and all her Friends waiting for her at the end of a rose petal covered pathway smiling at her. The man of her dreams watching her with those eyes like "I can't believe this is happening to me, SHE loves me and I love her and we are going to live together and make each other blissfully happy." Then after the ceremony we run out to jump in our Limo and head to the reception where we have a great feast and dance the night away with all our family and friends.

I am so greatful that I do get to be married in a Temple but on the other hand it would be fun to have the dream wedding....

Its a girl thing

QUESTION: What is one item you own that you really should throw away...but probably never will?

For the record I have met Brett Dennen and Joshua Radin.

Is FALL an event, or an activity? I am looking forward to that. If I was to choose a specific event it would have to be my sewing class next month. It is a mix between excitement and anxiety. A hot air balloon over Venice.

P.S. When I was little I went on a hot air balloon ride in Eagar. The balloon crashed! I remember thinking.. This is going to crash! Then the rocks got closer and closer. We were like a bouncy ball hitting the ground and bouncing up into the air a bit. It was scary.

THE PRICE IS WRONG B*T@H

QUESTION: What is the longest line you have ever stood in?

3 years ago I went with Natalie Allred and a group of her friends to THE PRICE IS RIGHT!! It was a few months before Bob retired. We were in line ALL DAY.!!!!

We got to california and rented an EXPENSIVE, crappy hotel for 3 hours. I tried to tell everyone that we should all just stay in the van but noone listened. I have stayed in some crappy hotels in my time but this one was by far the worst. There was mold growing on the ceiling in the closet! no joke. The sheets were damp and the floor was wraunch!! We crammed about 7 girls in there and I think we all paid about $40!! To sleep 3 hours!! NOT WORTH IT. We get in line outside of the studio at 2 am and the line already wraps around the block. I think we were around # 150 in line. People had been sleeping there all day and night. We brought 1 queen size mattress and all piled on. This was fun for about 10 seconds. We waiting till 6 am. The line started moving and we didn't really know what to expect. We get to the front of the line and they give us a ticket and tell us to come back in 2 hours. REALLY? So we go and sleep in the van. 1 girl even slept on the roof of the van!!! haha. We were parked in a parking garage so I bet we looked silly. At least it gave us more time to primp and look hott for Bob. 2 hours later we go back and get in line again only to get ANOTHER ticket and told to come back in another 2 hours. At this point I was done. I don't care if he is retiring, or dying, or getting his body frozen to be awakened in 100 years. I wanted sleep and food. This time we decided to hang out in a diner down the street and order some breakfast. Back in line for the 3 time and they put us in order, another line, and have us wait to be interviewed. This line and waiting took another 2 hours. By noon we were finally in our seats. The show took about 1 hour. It was a lot of jumping up and down and looking excited and such. We didn't even get on stage. lame. Or on TV. LAMER. After Bob did his show they told us that we were "lucky" because we got to go through the show again while they did an interview for a replacement host. So this meant we had to stay for another hour and pretend to be excited while some guy did an interview? Didn't they know we had been up all day and we were tired? They also let us know that it was just "practice" so this time we wouldn't be winning actual prized. ummmm... HELLO, we are all adults. We stopped playing pretend a LOOOONNNNG time ago. GIVE ME THE VACATION NOW. So by 2 we finally got to go home. The only good thing was that after the show I ate my first Chipotle burrito and fell in love with it. Don't worry, the relationship didn't last long. Apparently all that rice and tortilla are bad for me. The chipotle salad, no rice, no cheese, no sour cream is my rebound. Do you feel sorry for me? You should.

Maybe if I had grown up watching the price is right this would have been a lovely experience for me and the memory wouldn't be so tainted. However I did NOT grow up watching it and it wasn't a lovely experience. I wish that my grandparents could have gone in place of me because they are die hard fanatics. They would have passed out at all the excitement. So there you have it....

2nd place for longest line would be BLACK FRIDAY. Its a tradition in the family. No Sleep, just line standing ALL NIGHT.

Wednesday, August 26, 2009

I don't know about that.

Question: What is the most exciting event you have ever witnessed?

________________________ yep. there ya go. I got nothing.

I have no authority

QUESTION: What is one piece of advice that you wish you could pass along to everyone else?

Why would any one ask this of me? I have NO clue. Not everyone needs the same advice so to give general advice to EVERYONE? What a sweeping generalization. I guess health is important to everyone right? So my piece of advice would be.... (drum roll please)

Don't make excuses for why you CAN'T work out. JUST DO IT. Don't make excuses because we all know that you have time in your schedule. If you don't want to do it just say it. No need to make yourself sound good, who are we impressing here?

So thats that. Take it for what it is...

Figure 8's

QUESTION: If you had the ability to compete in any Olympic event, which one would you choose to enter?

Saturday, August 22, 2009

QUESTION: What is the most incredible weather event you've ever been through in your life?

Nothing too crazy or out of the norm. In Eagar we would get some pretty good Thunder storms with intense winds that would blow full grown trees over. The washes out behind our house would be running with water and the thunder would be defening! Thunderstorms are one of my favorite things. They are scary and beautiful all at the same time. I love the unpredictablilty that they hold. You are sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for the next flash and then holding your breath till you hear how loud the thunder will be. I love everything about it.

As If I Would Know.

Question: If you could have been there to witness any specific moment in sports history, what moment would you choose?

Wednesday, August 19, 2009

No thanks.

QUESTION: If you could open your own retail store, what type of merchandise would you sell?

Great question. I would NEVER want to own my own retail store. Through seeing what my dad does with his and working in a retail store in the mall I know that it is not something I want. I would rather live in a van down by the river and not own a toothbrush than own my own store. Okay so that probably isn't 100% true but you get the idea. Its annoying to find workers that you trust and you can't take a vacation whenever you want. You have to deal with stupid customers and holidays are where you want to be with your family but you have to be at your store because thats when people want to shop. Its just a nightmare. utterly, completely, a nightmare.

Pioneer children sang as they walked and walked and walked

QUESTION: What is the greatest distance you have ever driven in a single day?

Grandma and Grandpa Haws served a mission in Shreveport Louisiana. One year right before Christmas the whole family loaded up in our Suburban to go visit. On the way back Grandma and Grandpa haws came with us so I guess we visited at the end of their mission. Or they were allowed to come home for Christmas. Do they let older couples travel home? Anyway on the way home Grandpa is the get up and go type of guy and would barely let us stop to use the restroom. We traveled from Shreveport all the way back to Arizona in 1 day. It was a long, long drive

QUESTION: What is the most money you have ever found lying on the ground in a public place?

Well lets see...I don't remember myself specifically ever finding money other than 10 cents chilling on the hot pavement. I do remember that while coming back from the 4th of July Jakeb found 20 bucks on the ground outside of Taco Bell. He was kind enough to buy Elicia, her girls, and myself dinner with the money! He is a keeper.

!@#$%^&*()_+":?><,,/';.

QUESTION: What punctuality mark would best describe your personality?

What a weird question. I am going to go with * because I am a star in my mind. Is that a punctuality mark though? Am I supposed to chose out of the ! . , : ; ' "? I am not quite sure. If those were the options I am going to go with the ?. Sometimes things are a bit over my head and I can be naive. I like to be inquisitive.

KHASB

QUESTION: On a scale of one to ten (with one being not at all and ten being ver much so), how superstitious are you?

I am going to go with a 1 on this. Not superstitious at all. I LOVE to walk under ladders, cross black cats, and spill the salt.

I want to be like Mike.

QUESTION: Of all the great success stories that you have heard or read about, which one do you find the most inspiring?

I have always had an admiration for Helen Keller. I think it all started from a book report in middle school. I loved the movie that came out called Helen Keller. I think it was done by Disney or Hallmark. It had the cute little girl from the soda pop commercial. See it if you find it! Helen overcame so much and never let anything get in her way. Her determination astounds me.

Old as dirt.

QUESTION: What is the best piece of advice you have ever received in your life?

Well I think CTR is a piece of advice right? That would probably have to be the best.

Smoke it.

QUESTION: If you could bring back any tradition that seems to have faded into the past, what tradition would you bring back?

Oh that one is easy. Dating. It has gone to pot along with chivalry and I want it back. Thank you mom for teaching these 2 things to my little brothers. They make girls happy.

Cleaning Out My Closet.... NOT

Leave them where they are for now.

QUESTION: If you were invited to be the main guest on a new run of the famous show "This Is Your Life," what three people from your past would you love to see making a surpries visit on the show?

Interesting question I think. Everyone in my life that I really really want to keep in contact with I do. Sure it would be nice to run into my childhood friends and see what they are up to but I think I would rather just stalk them on facebook and not have the awkward conversation. Maybe when I am a little older I will have met and left more people and have a better answer. I would love to have some of my dead relatives and friends make a visit but I just don't see that being an option.

bye bye

QUESTION: If you could change one- and only one - aspect of the U.S. Presidential election process, What would it be?

Hmmm... I think I would make it so Democrats aren't allowed to vote. They screw everything up.

I could do without.

Question: What is something that many people consider a modern-day convenience that you, quite frankly , consider a pain in the neck?

Oooohhhkay.... This may be weird but I HATE to brush my teeth. Now don't get me wrong, I still brush them. Probably more than most do, but I hate it. Sometimes it makes me gag. Sometimes it burns. Its hard to find a good toothpaste. COLGATE is terrible by the way. I love having nice teeth, but hate brushing them.

FUNHOUSE

QUESTION: If you had a great voice and had the opportunity to record a duet with any singer living today, whom would you choose as your partner for the recording?

PINK! I love her music and her lyrics. Its a close contest with Celin Dion though. Both would be a dream come true. I think I would go with Pink though because she is more upbeat and fun. I love her new song funhouse. The idea of the song is brilliant and the beat is so catchy and fun.

Hit the Road.

QUESTION: if you had the time and money and could go on any month-long summer adventure of your choice, what would you choose to do?

I would love to travel around the whole time. Spend a week in the South of France. A week in Australia. A week in Switzerland. I assume I will need about 7 days in-between everything to travel to each place but if there were any days leftover I would love to spend the time at a cabin in the woods with 4-wheelers and horses.

QUESTION: If you were told that you could watch only one television show a week for the next 12 months, which show would you choose to watch?

Lucky for me this one is easy. I only watch 1 TV show faithfully and it is THE BIGGEST LOSER. I love it and it has inspired me in my own life. Its uplifting, has a little competition, and just isn't full of crap.

no clue....

QUESTION: Of all the movie characters you have seen, which one do you believe is most like you?

Thats a tough question. I don't even know. I wish it was worded differently like, which one do you wish you were most like. If that was the case I would say Sandra Bullock. She just rocks. Who am I actually like, I have no clue.

Always an adventure

QUESTION: What is the most beautiful drive you have ever taken? Be as descriptive as possible.

Growing up in an outdoorsy family there were always great opportunities for being in beautiful places. Growing up with so many siblings also ensured that we never flew anywhere and always drove. In all of my driving from Idaho to Utah to Wyoming to Louisiana to Texas to New Mexico to California to Nevada to Mexico, I think the most beautiful place is right in my own backyard. The White Mountains are beautiful. Especially in the fall. I remember many great times driving up into the mountains for a campfire, to haul firewood, to have a picnic. The aspen trees were all changing colors and there was often a little moisture in the air. The sun cuts through the trees and makes the dew on the ground sparkle like thousands of hiding diamonds. The air is still unless there are people around and if that is the case their laugher floats around and bounces off tree trunks. I love my own backyard.

Couldn't put it off any longer.

QUESTION: If you were given a $100 gift certificate to spend in any store, where would you choose to redeem it?

Anna's Linen's. I have wanted to get curtains for my room for such a long time but for some reason I don't ever want to drop money on that. Its always at the bottom of my list.

Friday, June 19, 2009

Good times.

QUESTION: What "moment of glory" have you watched another person celebrate that you too would love to experience if you could?

Well I think there are 2.

1. Watching Lindsey get up on the wakeboard was pretty cool. She has been trying for 2 years. I have NEVER tried but I think I would like to at some point.

2. Watching Tyson graduate with his Bachelors degree. Thats just awesome!! I can't wait till I get mine.

Place your bets

If you could enter a racehorse in the Kentucky Derby, what would you name your horse?

I would probably name it Horse. I have this thing about calling things by title and not names. It is a lot less complicated.

One day...

QUESTION: What would your dream house look like?

A house in the mountains. There would be back up electricity but the house would run off solar panels. A grand dining room for entertaining guests. A wrap around porch with plenty of patio furniture. A hot tub on the west end. Plenty of fresh flowers all over the house.Everything done in warm welcoming tones. Tile in the entryway and kitchen with everything else done in thick squishy carpet. The family room is large with plenty of room to play. The TV is hidden in the wall. Oversized furniture. Pool table. The master bedroom has a his and her closet. King size four post bed. One wall is only windows facing the mountain on the east. Bathroom has his and her sinks. Toilet in a separate room in bathroom. Shower is the kind where you walk around and into it so you don't need a curtain. Brown tile shower. 3 shower heads from different directions. Towel warmer in the bathroom. Off the bedroom will be a complete gym where no matter where you are you can see the TV. GREAT sound system throughout the entire house.

Next to the house is a garage, more like a warehouse. Plenty of room for motor home, boat, Jet ski, Quads, and whatever vehicles. Workshop area with ping pong table, couch, TV. Green, lushes grass surrounds a great big tree with a tire swing and a tree house up top.

The Beach House

QUESTION: If, for one month, you could live at any famous residence or house in the entire world, which one would you pick?

There is an email that floats into my inbox from time to time that always makes me want to go on vacation. Its of a house on an island. The only way to get there is on a yacht. The walls, and floor are all made of glass with tropical fish floating underneath. There are decks with the palm tree coverings overlooking a white sand beach. Everything inside the house is plush from the countertops to the HUGE TV on the wall. I would love that, but only for a month. If it was anything long term it would have to be somewhere in the mountains.

A pill a day keeps the doctor away.

QUESTION: If you could swallow a pill that would stop anything of your choice from ever happening to you again - anything except keep you from getting sick - what would the pill permanently end?

There are so many different options. Debt, Divorce, Gaining weight, Loneliness, work, periods. I hate all these things. I don't think its fair to make me choose only 1 to get rid of. I think if I had to stop only one it would be gaining weight. Does that make me shallow?

Show them the money

QUESTION: Suppose that income taxes still had to be paid, but instead of going to the government, your tax dollars would go to any cause or charity of your choice. Assuming the money would have to go to the same place each year, where would you want it to go?

Hmmmmmm.... I don't think I would want it to go to a cancer foundation or anything like that. Not saying that isn't a noble cause but I kinda figure if we were meant to have a cure don't you think they would have found it by now? Its hard to decide who needs it most. I would love to give it to under privileged children. Maybe to keeping public playgrounds safe. Feeding homeless children. Providing daycare for homeless children who's moms are trying to get back on their feet. Something like this. I am 100% against sending the money to helping babies in Africa. Yes my heart breaks for those cute little black babies with the sad eyes and bulging tummies but we have PLENTY of those children suffering in America. We don't have to go to other countries to make a difference. We can do it right here in our own backyard.

Polar Bears

QUESTION: If you had to spend an entire summer working at one of our country's national parks or historic sites, which one would you choose?

For the past few years I have had the thought of working in Alaska for the summer. I hear its so beautiful up there and there are tons of single adults that go up there to work. There are different jobs working in shops or giving tours. Word on the street is that the tour guides make BANK. So work there for the summer and finish it up with a 7 day alaskan cruise. That would be a GREAT summer. Did I forget to mention that the male to female ration is about 5 males to 1 female? But don't worry, that factor isn't being taken into consideration AT ALL. ;) yeah right.

Bride of Chuckie

QUESTION: What is one item you own that has virtually no monetary value but has such sentimental value that you would not sell it for $1,000?

My bride of Chuckie doll. I have a doll that scares most people. She looks kinda like the bride of chuckie but its not her fault so lay off people. This doll was my grandmothers when she was little. She had it at her house and I remember playing with it when I would go to visit. The doll is about the size of a 3 year old child. It has the eyes that close when you lay it on its back. Half of the eye lashes are pulled out, its dirty, she moves all awkwardly and scares little children. Why did she not scare me when I was little? I often wonder was I a weird child or just brave? After I grew up my grandma took one of my dresses and put it on the doll and thats what it still wears to this day. She scares most people so I have to keep her in the closet but I was very grateful to get that doll after my grandma passed on.

No thanks.

QUESTION: What is one vacation destination that many people thing is just fabulous, but which you personally have no desire to ever visit (or revisit)?

LAS VEGAS, NM I went a couple months ago with my friend. We had a great time but Vegas is a place to drink and gamble. Both of which are not high on my to do list. :) I am sure you are thinking to yourself "Mern, DUH! Everyone knows that is what you do in Vegas." I thought it was like floating the salt river. Everyone drinks BUT you can still have a GREAT time if you don't drink. NOPE. Vegas is different. It was fun to see all the attractions though. I ate Sushi for the first time so that was cool. The Las Vegas Temple is B-E-A UTIFUL. From here on out I will stick to Mexico for my cheap get-aways.

ZZZZZZZZ

QUESTION: Everyone hears discussions that they consider boring. What topic can put you to sleep more quickly than any other?

Well, First thought into my head was sports. But then I thought to my self, "self, you have never actually been put to sleep by the topic, you just don't understand any of it" So I had to think...HMMMM... and the only thing I could think of that ALWAYS puts me to sleep is ... you guessed it...and I bet its the same for you....General Conference! Its not that I don't find it interesting and extremely wonderful but NO MATTER HOW HARD I try I cannot stay awake for all of conference. It must be their voices. I just don't get it. OR maybe its like casting pearls before swine....Heavenly father knows I won't understand the topic so he puts me to sleep so it won't confuse me. IDK. I thought that with getting older it would be easier to stay awake, nope, its only easier to sleep because I don't have dad throwing pillows at me. BUT I do try hard and can usually make it through a good amount of the 2 hour block.

Self sabotage

QUESTION: If you were to write a book, What would you choose as the topic?

I would like to write a book on the ways that we, as women, and as humans, self sabotage ourselves. It happens SOOO often with relationships, school, work, sports. Every time we turn a corner there is a chance to sabotage something because of self doubt. I would like to MASTER this subject and write a book about it.

Good day mate

QUESTION: If you could experience a sailing adventure/cruise on any river, lake, or ocean in the world, what body of water would you choose for your trip?

Well hmmm.... I would love to sail the pacific ocean and check out papua new guinea. Ever since watching Swiss Family Robinson I have wanted to visit there. It wouldn't have to be around Papua New Guinea specifically, anywhere around australia would do. Even though there are A LOT of deathly bugs and critters, I would like to check it out.

Life's Buttons.

Since yesterday was a HOLIDAY I get to answer 2 questions today.

QUESTION: If you had to wear a button with a maximun of six words on it describing your outlook on life, what would your button say?

MAKE IT A GREAT DAY.

This is a phrase that my dad's family uses regularly. I just love it. My life can be whatever I make of it. Its not what happens to me, its how I handle it.

MY SONG

QUESTION: If you were a songwriter drawing from recent experiences in your own life as material for your next big hit, what would be the song's title?

It matters to me.

I wanna be black.

QUESTION: If you had to be of a different ethnicity than you actually are, to which heritage would you most like to belong?

If you know me at all you already know the answer to this question.... African American. They have it all! They have great skin, they can wear wigs and not have to do their hair. They can sing AND dance like nobody's business. Black people just seem to have more fun. There is kind of a catch though. Sometimes they don't completely "have it together." Take Joelle from the biggest loser. She doesn't "get it." But I guess my Caucasian descent can have some crazies too. I would rather be black and crazy than white and crazy.

Class is now in session

QUESTION: What is the most interesting course you have ever taken in school? On the other hand, what is the most boring course you have ever taken in school?

Most interesting would be Astronomy! Good thing I liked it because I had to take it twice. I guess I wasn't so good at it the first time around becase I failed. :) BUT it was the coolest class the 2nd time. Learning about all the planets and space was very interesting. It was also a fun class becuase it had a lab with it where we went out into the desert for 2 weekends with our telescopes and had a good time. Brother Tyson was in the class with me and also father of my 6 children Rex. It was a party.

Most boring course would have to be history. Its not that I don't like history because I do but this teacher was torture!! I think I dropped the class after 4 weeks. Very Mundane and monotone. I think history can be very interesting but when the teacher stands in front of the class with a power point EVERY DAY it can put me sleep faster than nascar.

BIG GULPS.

The best

What is the best $100 you have ever spent in your life?

That would have to be the perfume I purchased in Vegas. Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture. It smells AMAZING and I love it.

Friday, May 15, 2009

YES PLEASE

QUESTION: If, like the newspaper or milk, you could have anything of your choice delivered to your doorstep every morning, what particular item would you want it to be?

MEALS! Please deliver all my healthy meals for the day freshly prepared so that all I have to do is re-heat. How amazing and time effective would that be! Sheesh. That would make healthy eating so easy.

Keep your butt to yourself!

QUESTION: What is your biggest pet peeve?

Oh snap! I, like all people wandering this earth, have many pet peeves. There is one that rises above the rest I think. It makes me want to Honk my horn and scream and be a not so nice person to a complete. It just peeves me off when I see someone flick their cigarette butt out of their car window onto the highway. THIS WORLD IS not YOUR ASH TRAY PEOPLE. I like to eat banana's but you don't see me throwing the peel out the window do you?! Have these people never noticed that they have an ash tray in their car?
Yes it is something little and after it gets run over 500 times it probably disappears into nothing but for some reason it makes me mad.

ENLIGHTEN ME

QUESTION: If you could become fully enlightened instantly on any one subject, which subject would you choose?

Well the given answer for all I am sure would be religion. My SECOND choice would be sports. I am clueless and I can only figure it is because my brothers weren't meat head sports fanatics and I have never dated anyone that asks me to sit and watch "The big game" with them. I have never been interested in sports. Health and excercise but not sports. So when people get excited for their team, or the big game I don't get it. So how great would it be to not have to care about sports but be fully enlightened on the subject! I picture this happening like the MATRIX. Just download all that information please!

$2 million

QUESTION: If you won $2 million tomorrow, what are the first three things you think you would do or buy as soon as you had the check in your hand?

First 3 things eh? I am going to assume that the money is un-taxed because that makes me happier.
1. Quite my job.
2. Buy a 09 Tundra and spend a good 5 hours picking out rims, sound system, lift kit, tinting, custom grill, and custom paint job.
3. Apply for ASU now that tuition is not a problem.

So there you have it. My top 3 things. Now we all know the first thing I would do is scream and jump up and down but thats a given.

Purpose of this blog

Today at lunch I bought a box of questions called a CHAT PACK. I think it will be fun to answer one of the questions everyday! Feel free to jump in and answer it as well.
